WhatsApp automation

WhatsApp automation that connects the conversation to the business behind it.

Thalenor builds WhatsApp Business API automation for companies that sell and support customers on WhatsApp: automated replies grounded in real product data, order and booking flows, payment links, CRM integration and hand-off to staff when a person should take over.

WhatsApp Automation

If customers already buy from you on WhatsApp, the system should be there too.

Most businesses answer the same stock, price and delivery questions by hand and copy every order into a sheet. The conversation stays human. The bookkeeping should not.

Channel architecture

From first message to follow-up.

Step 01

Entry

Instagram, website or ad click opens WhatsApp.

Step 02

Conversation

Automated where confident; staff where not.

Step 03

Data

Products, services, availability, customer record.

Step 04

Payment or booking

Link generated and confirmed automatically.

Step 05

CRM

Every conversation becomes a record.

Step 06

Follow-up

Reminders and re-engagement with opt-out.

Operational scenario · illustrative

A returning customer buys on WhatsApp, including a failed payment.

Conversation on the left of the screen, business system on the right. The customer sees a helpful chat; the business sees stock, orders and payments staying honest.

When it goes wrong

The customer asks for a custom alteration the flow does not cover.

Recognise the limit

The system does not improvise; it says a person will help.

Hand-off

A staff member joins the same thread with the cart and history visible.

Continue

Once agreed, the order continues through the normal payment and dispatch flow.

What is WhatsApp Business automation?

WhatsApp Business automation uses the WhatsApp Cloud API to let software participate in customer conversations: recognising the customer, answering from live product or service data, creating orders or bookings, sending payment links and notifications, updating the CRM and handing over to a staff member when needed. It is infrastructure for a sales channel, not just a chatbot.

What we build on WhatsApp

Conversations that create records.

01

Lead capture and qualification

From Instagram, website or ads into WhatsApp, with the right questions asked automatically.

02

Product and service answers

Availability, price, variants and timings from live data rather than memory.

03

Order and booking flows

Create the order, reserve stock, take the payment link, confirm.

04

Notifications

Order status, appointment reminders, payment confirmations, delivery updates.

05

Staff hand-off

A person joins with the full context when the conversation needs judgement.

Architecture

WhatsApp as a channel on top of your systems.

The chat is the surface. Underneath are the same records, payments and stock the rest of the business uses.

What buyers ask before committing

Straight answers to the questions that decide a project.

What we would not do
  • Use unofficial WhatsApp clients or scraped sessions.
  • Send marketing broadcasts without opt-in.
  • Confirm an order from chat text rather than a verified payment webhook.

Is this allowed by WhatsApp?

Yes, when built on the official Cloud API with approved templates and opt-in. Thalenor claims no partnership with Meta; we build on the platform's public API.

Will customers feel they are talking to a bot?

The automation answers factual questions quickly and hands over quickly. Most customers prefer an instant accurate answer to a slow human one.

What about payments?

Links via Razorpay or Stripe, with server-side verification. WhatsApp never holds money.

Can it work with our Shopify store?

Yes. Product, stock and order data can be read and written through the store's API.

What if stock is wrong?

Stock comes from the system of record and is reserved on cart creation with a timer, so two customers cannot buy the last piece.

Questions

Questions worth asking first.

Yes. We build on the WhatsApp Cloud API through approved providers. Thalenor does not claim any partnership with Meta.
